Introduction to Espresso Fundamentals

This course provides essential information that will enable attendees to build a solid foundation in understanding espresso extraction techniques. This course will introduce and reinforce proven techniques and positive habits in the espresso preparation steps by teaching an understanding of the importance of each step coupled with immediate and repetitive hands-on practice under close supervision. Basic espresso beverage preparation and building is also introduced.


This course focuses on demonstration and hands-on time at the espresso machine. Class sizes are limited to provide ample practice time for each student.
