Barú is a new production area in the Cañas Verdes Region, harvested during January, February and March of 2011. This coffee is exceptionally fruity and sweet, with flavors of jam, peach juice, candied apples, lemony acidity, and orange blossom.

Hacienda La Esmeralda is a world-renowned farm that has won numerous accolades throughout the years, including the Best of Panama, Coffee of the Year, and the SCAA Roaster’s Guild Cupping Pavilion competitions.
